Up until 2003, Alfa Laval tank cleaning consisted of spray balls, static and rotating. In 2003, Alfa Laval succeeded in acquiring Toftejorg tank cleaning (Denmark), and entered into a new market within impact tank cleaning. The Toftejorg product line of tank jets originated within the food and pharmaceutical markets and feature a broad variety of machines for many applications, including high purity features no other manufacturer can.
In 2012 Gamajet, Exton, USA, was added to Alfa Laval’s tank cleaning portfolio. Gamajet machines were developed from another angle, focusing on features for cleaning the toughest residues, oftentimes in the industrial markets, but also in developing smaller machines that can replace spray balls without changing the tank. The Gamajet range includes machines that can fit through as little as a 2 inch sanitary fitting.
Fast forward to 2015 and the complete line of Alfa Laval tank cleaning is the broadest and strongest portfolio of impact cleaning machines for any industrial, food or pharmaceutical application. If you have a tank, we have the optimal unit for it!
